Ebsco databases all fixed!

I’d like to say it was something I did, but it would seem that the problems we’ve been having with Ebsco databases this afternoon have been resolved – looks like a temporary glitch somewhere in the system. As ever, if you do find that you are unable to access electronic resources, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Discover@Bolton working properly now!

Back to the future… Cambridge Journals Online displaying as normal

Cambridge Journals Online has reverted to its ‘normal’ state: no more homage to the 1990s! If you are still finding it doesn’t look quite right, Cambridge University Press have suggested that it may be down to a caching issue, and have recommended that you hit Ctrl +F5 to refresh the page.

Wiley Online Library back to normal and scheduled maintenance for ProQuest this Sunday

Access to Wiley Online Library has been restored and  you should be able to access journals as normal.

There is also some scheduled maintenance for ProQuest databases this Sunday 13th March from 3.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. where ProQuest databases and RefWorks will be unavailable.

 

Access to IHS databases restored

Good news! The problems we were having with IHS databases (Construction Information Service, Engineer-it, Occupational Health and Safety Information Service, Specify-it) have been resolved and you should be able to access these databases as usual.

Access to RCN Journals restored

The problems we were having with RCN Journals last week have been resolved and you should now be able to access content as before.

The problems with IHS databases (Construction Information Service, Engineer-it, Occupational Health and Safety Information Service, Specify-it) are unfortunately still on going but we will update you as soon as we have any more information.
