Today we have Oxford Art Online, which is a crucial resource for anyone studying art-related disciplines. Providing access to the Grove Dictionary of Art and the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, this resource presents over 200,000 full-text articles from ancient art to contemporary art, and includes over 15,000 images. It also provides some coverage for architecture. You can search, or you can browse by elements of the history of art, time period, geography and art form.
