Taylor and Francis: scheduled maintenance tomorrow (31st March)

There is some scheduled maintenance to the Taylor and Francis Online platform tomorrow Tuesday 31st March, which will mean that a number of features, notably the ‘My Account’ feature will not be available between 7 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. It will still be possible to access and download articles. After the maintenance has taken place, you may be required to change your personal account password due a change in Taylor and Francis’ password security policy. Note that this applies only to any personal account that you may have set up: general access is, as always, via your Bolton network ID and password.

As it’ll make me feel better on this rather cold morning (spring? Really? Ha!), please indulge me a little grumble about this particular maintenance: who knows, maybe Taylor and Francis read this blog… I only found out about this when I checked the main Taylor and Francis site just now, as I had received an e-mail about the changes to the password security policy. While this is clearly important, and we should be pleased that a publisher takes the security of our accounts seriously, I had received no other notification, so I must apologise for the short notice.
