Changes to ScienceDirect and Scopus

by

Over the weekend, there were some changes to the interfaces of both ScienceDirect and Scopus. For ScienceDirect, the updates have included changes to My Alerts and a recommended articles update option with multiple download capabilities, among others. Further details can be found on the ScienceDirect blog. For Scopus, many of the updates are concerned with the analysis of journals, and there have been some changes to some of the terms used within the database, as well as their location. Analyze Results is now known as Analyze Search Results, Author Evaluator is now known as Analyze Author Output and Analyze Journals is now known as Compare Journals. More details about these changes and others can be found on the Scopus blog.
