Easter’s come early? Mass Observation Archive finally working off-campus!

Just in time for the long Easter Bank Holiday weekend, Mass Observation Archive is fianlly working off-campus without the need for any additional links or extra usernames and passwords. To access the resource, click on the link on the library webpages, and follow these steps:

  1. Having clicked on the link, you will see a page with a login box on the next screen. Don’t enter anything here. Underneath the login boxes are three options. Chose      the middle – UK Access Management Federation – and click on it.
  2. In the search box on the next screen, enter “University of Bolton”.
  3. On the following screen, enter your Bolton network ID and password and proceed to the resource.

I must give a public vote of thanks to Adam Matthew Digital for sorting this out. As ever, if you have problems accessing electronic resources, don’t hesitate to contact the Subject Help Desk via e-mail, on 01204 903404 or in person.

I am hoping that there will be no more resource issues between now and the time I finish for the Easter break, so that on Thursday, I can wish you all well, instead of yet another report of resource disruption…!
