IMPORTANT – OpenAthens

We are experiencing problems using OpenAthens to login to electronic resources. A workaround is available; follow these steps:

• Go to the link for the desired resource on the A to Z list of resources or the subject resources pages.
• On the following screen, click “Alternative login” underneath the login boxes.
• On the next screen, scroll down to “Universities”, expand this option, and look for “The University of Bolton”. Click the FIRST link.
• The next screen will present you with the box that has “Go to the University of Bolton – TEST” in the middle. Click this link.
• You may then be asked to login again with your Bolton network ID and password.
