Unlocking research at the University of Bolton

In 2007, the University of Bolton launched the University of Bolton Institutional Repository (UBIR). It is an open access repository that aims to make research freely available to all. Initially JISC-funded, the aim of UBIR is to capture, store and preserve research that has been produced by researchers at the University of Bolton. Now containing 225 items that include journal articles, images, book chapters and report, UBIR has been subject to over 10,000 full-text downloads in the past year.

Want to know more? Have a look at UBIR and click on the about section. If you are a University of Bolton researcher and would like to deposit your research into UBIR, then please contact the UBIR Team.
